If you are a strategist in the world of healthcare business, marketing, and communication, you would be wise to read an article by Porter and Lee in this week’s issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.

The article is simply entitled “Why strategy matters now.” It deals with business strategy for any and all healthcare provider organizations in the new world of limited reimbursement for healthcare services … but the business strategies that those organizations adopt and implement will affect the entire healthcare supply chain.

It would be silly to tell you what the article says. It’s relatively brief. Just read it.
